Three gunmen storm into Athlone winkel to shoot alleged rival three times

AN ALLEGED gang hit flopped inside a busy Athlone bakery on Tuesday afternoon, leaving mense ducking and diving for cover.

According to an eyewitness, the victim who was shot three times, but survived the attack was inside the shop when three men followed him into the winkel and opened fire.

The resident, who asked not be named, said he was in the shop with his two young daughters when the attack took place.
