Sympathies to people offended re BBC G/bury death chants but is it freedom of expression/ speech providing it’s not a political expression? Lucy Connolly received 2 yrs for tweets at the time of the Southport stabbings. Do we have freedom of speech providing it doesn’t highlight the govt’s burgeoning asylum seeker crisis of 1000 arrivals in 2 days declared ‘only a tweet’? Like VP JD Vance I am confused on what is Starmer’s ‘proud UK free speech ‘declared at the White House meeting Donald Trump. These incidents aside we don’t seem to have free speech do we?
