Tributes to a legend of shock radio

PIONEERING DJ DIES AGED 74

TV and radio legend James Whale died yesterday at the age of 74.

Tributes were paid to the ex-BBC and TalkSport presenter, who had been battling stage four kidney cancer.

His wife Nadine Lamont-Brown said: “It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my darling husband, James Whale, who died peacefully this morning with a smile on his face, holding my hand.”
