Reeves plans tax grab on kiddies' milkshakes

MILKSHAKES are to be hit with a new sugar tax.

The kids’ favourites and other milk-based beverages are losing their exemption in a tax grab on sweet drinks.

The move - announced just hours before Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ bombshell budget - will hit packaged milkshakes and coffees.

The maximum amount of sugar allowed in drinks is also being cut affecting popular soft drinks like Irn Bru.
