HSBC doubles profits to £17BILLION then warns of tougher times ahead for struggling customers

HSBC'S profits have more than doubled as people struggle with the cost-of-living crisis.

It posted a pre-tax profit of £16.9billion for the first six months this year, compared to £7.2bn over the same period last year.

The greedy financial giant has been filling its pockets thanks to rising interest rates around the globe.
