WISE GUY (3.40, nap) looks the sage play in the Next Meeting 30th November Handicap Hurdle at Leicester today.

Conditions will be testing at the East Midlands track and that will suit the Stuart Edmunds-trained runner, whose last two wins came on this sort of ground.

Although 18 months have passed without further success, he’s slipped back to a nice mark and looked in need of the run on his return last month, when well backed.

Improvement is likely after that pipe-opener and he’s down another 2lb, so has plenty to recommend him.
