Grandad shows his true colours in Litten battle

THE LITTEN boys might be split by the Hull divide but their grandad won’t be taking sides on Good Friday.

Davy Litten, the Hull FC centre, will again do battle with his cousin, Hull KR and England hooker Jez Litten.

The pair are set to go hammer and tongs on Friday less than a fortnight ago after the fierce city rivals went head-to-head in the Challenge Cup quarter-final.

Rovers came out on top 32-16 in that MKM Stadium clash so Hull are desperate to turn things around in the Super League meeting.

Like many families in the city, the Littens are left divided.

But their grandad, John, has one way around the dilemma, with two grand-kids in action.

Davy explained: “He was a Hull fan but actually wears one FC sock and one KR sock on derby day!
