Charlton star to shake-up League One race

MACAULAY GILLESPHEY is a banger of a big-price bet for Charlton at Peterborough.

The League One promotion battle is set for a sizzling finish, and Charlton are right in the mix - though as far as the title itself goes you can probably stick a fork in that one, it's done.

Only one ante-post favourite has brought home the bacon in the past 10 runnings of tier three, but Birmingham (2-1 fav in August) are so far clear their backers can surely start smoking that cigar.

The four relegation slots have found three sitting tenants, but resurgent Burton will be making a few sides above them anxious. Peterborough are one of those and a visit from the in-form Addicks (3pm) won't help calm the nerves.

Charlton have been proving very effective at getting results against the current bottom-10 sides - 34 points from a possible 45 all told, with nine clean sheets in those 15 games.
