VICTORIA Beckham used to be a bit of a Wannabe.

The Spice Girl has revealed she struggled to make friends when she was growing up. It meant her childhood was a pretty tough time.

In her most honest interview ever, she says: "I was probably the most unpopular kid at my school. And then the most unpopular kid at my college. I was constantly told I wasn’t good enough in my youth and as a young adult.

"I've been knocked so many times and I just bounce back up again and that doesn’t come without its challenges on you physically, mentally, emotionally."

The ordeal meant Victoria never imagined she'd ever have much success, let alone become a global superstar.
