Parker handed Hel of a boost

BURNLEY just about ended their goal drought at Turf Moor to jump above Sheffield United into the Championship automatic promotion places.

Oxford centre-back Michal Helik scored an own goal to register Burnley's first strike at home in three games since December 21.

The Clarets fully deserved their victory and Scott Parker's side have extended their unbeaten run to 18 league games.

Burnley, who handed a late debut to Jonjo Shelvey from the bench, should have won more convincingly and goals remain a real problem for Parker's men.
