Salah tells Kop fans jeering Trent was wrong

MO SALAH has told Liverpool fans they should NOT have booed Trent Alexander-Arnold when he came on during last Sunday's draw with Arsenal.

Salah has become the first Anfield player to publicly criticise his own supporters for the way they reacted to Alexander-Arnold announcing his departure from the club.

Asked if he was saddened by the jeering, Salah said: "Absolutely. I was surprised because it is not how we react as Liverpool fans.

"The fans have been harsh with him.
