RICKY Gervais’ partner Jane Fallon has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo surgery later this month.

The writer, 65, is known for penning novels Getting Rid Of Matthew and Faking Friends.

Jane revealed how a routine breast screening last year led to her diagnosis.
