Lewis geared up for more pain

LEWIS HAMILTON has already written off his chances of a successful first season with Ferrari.

The seven-time Formula One champion said he sees only a “painful” few months ahead, with his dream move rapidly becoming a nightmare.

He joined Ferrari to give himself what he thought would be the best opportunity of winning the title again before he retires.

But his chances of achieving that this year already look to have vanished.

And after a dismal Jeddah race, which saw him qualify seventh and finish there, he glumly conceded there was “nothing positive to take” from his performance.
