MIKEL ARTETA says Arsenal will have “fire in their belly” to win trophies after their Carabao Cup final heartbreak.

The Gunners saw their Quadruple dreams end in tatters after losing to Manchester City, but Arteta says defeat will only give them more motivation.

The Spanish coach ensured all his heartbroken players watched City’s trophy lift as a mark of respect, but also hopes it will lift them in the title race, FA Cup and Champions League.

The Gunners boss said: “We had eight amazing months with this team. Today is a disappointment. We need to use that fire in the belly for the next two months to have an incredible season.
