THE British police hunt for Madeleine McCann could be axed in Rachel Reeves’ spending review - to put more bobbies on the beat.

TV investigator Mark Williams-Thomas said the Met Police's Operation Grange probe was “mad” as Brit cops have no “jurisdiction” to investigate Portuguese crimes.
