'BRITAIN FACING A BRAIN DRAIN'

BRITAIN faces a boffin shortage with four in five university students planning to pursue their careers abroad.

Experts fear the exodus of scientists, inventors and computer boffs will leave the UK lagging behind other nations.

In the survey by the London Student and Expat networks nearly two thirds (63%) of those planning to leave blamed the cost of living in this country.

And three in five (58%) said they expected career prospects overseas.
