Break claim clock ticking

THREE years ago, I broke my arm while operating machinery at my old workplace. Since then, I've had chronic pain which has required me to have time off work and several hospital appointments.

I was told it's likely I will need surgery. My parents have said to me that they think I may have an injury-at-work claim, as it occurred there and it seems as if my company didn't have proper health and safety measures in place. Is it too late to claim?
