Bon Jovi: Oasis are saviours of rock!

BON JOVI have thanked Oasis for proving rock music is not dead.

Singer Jon Bon Jovi was at Wembley Stadium on Friday to talk about the band’s Forever tour which comes to the UK next summer - their first shows since 2019.

He thinks the Gallagher brothers reuniting has kick-started a fresh appreciation of stadium rock.

Jon explained: “The promise of what Oasis brought last year is gonna give a lot of young rock bands an opportunity to shine again.

“So I think that it’s good that stadium acts are able to fill buildings and people are enjoying themselves.

“There was a time 10, 12 years ago, people said Rock is dead. I think Rock is alive and well again.”
