How will her small town in Wales mark her next success story?

Jones, 32, will make her boxing debut tonight almost two years after her taekwondo career came to a demoralising end.

Her first gold - at London 2012 - was commemorated by the customary matching post box.

She also had a local sports centre named after her and the town's butcher - where her mum works - created a celebratory Olympic sausage.

But after defending the gold in Rio 2016 (below), Jones then crashed out in the first round of successive Games in 2021 and 2024 to end her dreams of a hat-trick.
