Vicario: Now Spurs can land silverware

GUGLIELMO VICARIO insists that Tottenham are a team reborn after eliminating Eintracht Frankfurt on their own patch.

The Italian goalkeeper made five stops to keep the Bundesliga outfit - previously undefeated in 11 European home matches - at bay in Germany as Dominic Solanke's decisive penalty fired Spurs into the Europa League semi-finals.

And even though Ange Postecoglou's side have lost a whopping 21 games in all competitions this season, Vicario claims the victory has given the group growing confidence that they can go the distance and end the club's lengthy 17-year wait for silverware.
