Sunak: 'Don't lose sleep' over tech yet

RISHI “Biggles” Sunak says we should not “lose sleep” despite warning that robots could become uncontrollable. 

The PM made a speech yesterday as the Government published assessments on artificial intelligence that he said offered a “stark warning”.

Mr Sunak said: “Get this wrong and it could make it easier to build chemical or biological weapons.

“Terrorist groups could use AI to spread fear and disruption on an even greater scale.” But he added: “This is not a risk that people need to be losing sleep over right now and I don’t want to be alarmist.”
