MANCHESTER City’s Class of 25 taught Salford’s Class of 92 a humbling lesson as they strolled to the easiest of wins at the Etihad.

Ryan Giggs was in the dugout and fellow Salford owners Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt watched grimly from the directors’ box as City made this mini-derby totally one-sided.

James McAtee bagged a hattrick in this FA Cup rout as even Jack Grealish got on the scoresheet for City for the first time in 13 months.

Jeremy Doku was outstanding for the Blues, who looked more like their old selves after a traumatic couple of months, scoring twice and laying on two more.

imageDivin Mubama scored on his debut, while Nico O’Reilly also bagged his first City goal.
