BOSS PARKER'S BOYS ARE 'ROLLING SLEEVES UP'
-
SCOTT PARKER spoke of his pride as Burnley moved to the top of the Championship while Coventry boss Frank Lampard saw red.
The visitors had to fight back after Haji Wright controversially opened the scoring for the hosts after five minutes before Jaidon Anthony scored either side of half-time to make it 27 league games unbeaten for the Clarets.
"Immensely proud, a tough place to come, we knew that coming into the game," said Burnley boss Parker. "A team right in form. The stadium was bouncing as well, pretty alive for large parts of the game.
"We go a goal down early on, albeit a clear offside goal which was disappointing. We reacted superbly well, get ourselves back in the game with a well-worked goal then showed our quality in the first half.
