While wife Coleen lapped up life Down Under in ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’, former Manchester United and England star Wayne has been battling his own football trials.

Plymouth are in the relegation zone, so Rooney sent his own SOS to Phelan, who banked three Premier League titles as No.2 to Sir Alex Ferguson.
