A TRAVEL firm is offering an eight-day trip to Syria – with a night in war-ravaged Aleppo.

The country has been torn apart by civil war for years, but its brutal leader Bashar al-Assad finally fled by jet to Moscow last month.

The Foreign Office still warns against travel to the country, which it says is in the midst of “ongoing conflict”.
