A message to England fans in Germany..

THE last time England threatened to win the Euros, all hell broke loose.

And that was on home soil. Let alone those foreign lands which have seen such hooliganism down the years from those who claim to be Three Lions fans.

It’s still difficult to comprehend what happened at Wembley ahead of the Euro 2020 final between Gareth Southgate’s men and the Italians. How nobody died is a minor miracle.

And now the authorities brace themselves once again as another major tournament begins, and tens of thousands of English supporters get set to follow their team abroad.

To Germany, of all places, where once again, England will be one of the favourites to triumph.

What could possibly go wrong?

Around 300,000 are expected to leave these shores for some of Germany’s major cities.
