You're failing young men in despair

Damning report says earlier help needed to head off drugs, alcoholism and suicide

YOUNG men from poor backgrounds are suffering "deaths of despair" because of a policy "blind spot" by the Scottish Government, an expert claims.

The scathing Inequality Landscape Report by the Scottish Health Equity Research Unit (SHERU) suggests the SNP government has failed young men from deprived areas on health and education, leading to higher rates of poor mental health.
