A RATHER elderly and deteriorating doll is brought into the barn, having been a treasured companion during a difficult time.

Rosebud is 75 years old, and belonged to the late mother of Jacquie, from Barrow-in-Furness.

After losing her father at the age of seven and her mother just two years later, Jacquie’s mother Myra was adopted and given Rosebud by her new parents.
