Kieron's ready to throw weight around in Serbia

KIERON BOWIE believes he is finally ready to become Hibs' main man - and that starts by leading the battle in Belgrade.

The striker got his Premiership campaign off to a flier with a double in Sunday's 2-1 win over Dundee following a summer in which he made his Scotland debut.

It was Bowie's first 90 minutes for Hibs and his first going back almost 16 months to when he was on loan at Northampton from Fulham.

The 22-year-old has had a solid preseason and feels he is now over the injury problems that curtailed his start at Easter Road.

Bowie started their Europa League doubleheader before Dens and is in line to make it four in a row when Hibs face the first leg of their Conference League qualifier with Partizan Belgrade on Thursday.

He said: "It was a tight game and they were really compact at the back, so the chances came from nothing really.
