Jack comforts young son of fan killed in Istanbul road accident

THE young son of a Rangers fan killed in Istanbul was comforted by goalie Jack Butland after a match-day tribute to his dad.

Christopher Potter died after he was hit by two cars in Besiktas last Thursday, prior to the Ibrox side's 3-1 victory over Fenerbahce in Turkey.

The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. His children, Jak, 20, Millie, 13, and Teddy, six, and wife Holly were invited to the second leg of the match at Ibrox for a special tribute.

Goalie Jack Butland reached out to the family to meet up with Teddy and was seen cuddling him after the game.
