SARAH TAIT believes a place at next month's World Championships would be the perfect way to cap her best season yet.
The 24-year-old smashed the Scottish women’s 3000m steeplechase record for the third time in as many months at the IFAM meeting in Oordegem, clocking 9:18.66 to finish second.
It was just outside the 9:18 automatic qualifying time for the British team for Tokyo, but inside the B standard of 9:22 - keeping her on course for a first major championships.
