Rapist's GP dad on victim jibes charge

A HIGHLAND GP has been arrested and charged over claims he posted abusive social media messages about his son's rape victim.
Dr Andrew McFarlane was charged with communication offences on Wednesday.
His son, Daniel McFarlane, 26, from Inverness, was caged for five years in July 2022 for two counts of raping Ellie Wilson and attempting to defeat the ends of justice after a trial at Glasgow's High Court.
