Drey desperate to get his paws on the trophy after ditching dog cele

DREY WRIGHT had dreamed up a dubious dog-themed celebration in the event of scoring.

But he was so thrown by Killie gifting him a stoppage-time winner that the comical canine routine was canned.

Wright hopes to roll it out on the road to Hampden as he reckons Dundee might've found a Scottish Cup mascot.

The puppy power comes from his new cockapoo, Rudy, who visited the training ground in the buildup to beating Killie.

Wright sniffed out a last 16 route by shrewdly standing guard as keeper Kelle Roos and Lewis Mayo both went to deal with a looping ball into the Killie box.

A communication breakdown led to the pair clashing - and Wright pouncing to net his second goal of the season.

Wright said: "I was a bit nervy at the time as it was dropping down on the left foot. I didn’t catch it too well but I think that's helped it go in. It kind of scuttled under the keeper.
