Elvis's widow hits back at £37m lawsuit in Presley estate battle

PRISCILLA Presley says a lawsuit claiming she prematurely chose to withdraw life support from her daughter amounts to malicious character assassination.

The 80-year-old widow of Elvis Presley is being sued by a former business associate, Florida-based memorabilia auctioneer Brigitte Kruse and her commercial partner Kevin Fialko.

In a £37million suit, they accuse her of ending daughter Lisa Marie Presley's life support in January 2023 to secure control over a multi-million-dollar life insurance trust.

Filed in Beverly Hills, the suit alleges Presley “pulled the plug” at West Hills Hospital in California just hours after Lisa Marie was admitted there suffering from an apparent cardiac arrest, though a different diagnosis was made postmortem.
