Oliver, 12, asks his stepdad to adopt him in touching speech at mum's wedding

A BOY of 12 asked his stepdad to adopt him during a tear-jerking speech at his wedding.

Leigh Gardiner, 31, married Arron, 32, at the Brig o' Doon House Hotel in Ayr.

But it was her 12-year-old son who stole the show when he gave a speech after walking his mum down the aisle.

Sitting at the top table alongside his brothers, Alfie, five, and Leo, three, Oliver took the microphone and addressed guests of the family, who live in Larkhall, Lanarkshire.

Oliver started off with traditional gags and warmed the crowd up before the emotional moment.
