Rohl knows Gers have worked so hard to drag themselves back into title picture and now's not the time to toss it all away

EIGHTH in the league, one win from seven, four points off bottom spot, 11 behind leaders Hearts - and leaking goals right, left and centre.

Those are the numbers that lay out the scene of chaos left behind by Russell Martin as his Rangers reign imploded inside 122 shambolic days.

And yet, a mere two months on from his exit, there are signs Danny Rohl has already been able to repair much of the damage Martin left behind.

Bit by bit, the club's new German gaffer has dragged Gers up the table.

By winning 20 points out of 24, Rohl has hauled Rangers from the bottom half to third top.

The haemorrhaging of goals has been halted - with five cleans sheets from eight league games so far - and he's also found a way to get goals out of this shot-shy lineup.

And maybe, just maybe, he’s put Rangers on course for the unlikeliest of title bids.
