Woman harassed couple with animal cruelty claims and obscene letters

THE death of a rabbit sparked a neighbour-from-hell's year-long campaign of abuse.

Kathleen Minogue, 63, bombarded a couple with letters making unsupported allegations about sexual misconduct and animal cruelty.

Minogue admitted acting in a threatening or abusive manner towards Rose McCafferty and Scott Moffat in Jura Street, Perth, in May 2025.

She admitted repeatedly posting abusive letters through the letterbox and threatening make allegations about Ms McCafferty to their landlord. She admitted walking past and waving her hand and items towards a Ring doorbell, as well as shouting, swearing and making offensive remarks.
