AFTER stumbling over the line against Belarus, Scotland know a World Cup playoff is the worst they can do in Group C.

Denmark's 3-1 win over Greece in Copenhagen ended Greek hopes of gatecrashing the top two and now it's a straight shootout between the Danes and Steve Clarke's side.

Goal difference is the first tiebreaker rather than head-to-head and given our comparative lack of goals against Belarus compared to the Scandinavians, realistically we're going to have to beat them in the final game at Hampden.
