SNP urged to act over 'crumbling, out-of-date' buildings

HOSPITALS have been branded "deathtraps for the frail" after more than 250,000 falls were recorded.

Nine out of 14 health boards have seen an increase in falls as the SNP government was urged to make the health service safer.

Scottish Labour deputy leader Jackie Baillie said: "Falls can be life-changing for older and more vulnerable patients.
