John's got so many injuries he's thinking of calling up our man Al
JOHN McGLYNN dubbed losing centre-back Lewis Neilson long-term a “massive blow” - even quipping he’s one injury away from drafting in a Daily Record journalist.
The Falkirk boss confirmed the loanee from Hearts suffered an ankle injury late on in last week's 2-1 win at Motherwell.
Neilson, 22, joins skipper Coll Donaldson and Tom Lang as sidelined stoppers while left-back Leon McCann will miss a second successive game when Dundee visit tomorrow.
Turning to the reporters in front of him at his weekly press conference, McGlynn said: “We are bare bones at the back and it wouldn't take much for another injury to get [Record Sport's] Alan playing at the back soon! Lewis is going to have to see a specialist. He's had an operation on his ankle previously.
