ABERDEEN are closing in on a manager but Kevin Nisbet reckons Peter Leven has to remain a central part of any new-look coaching team.
The long-serving first-team coach is currently interim boss as sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel puts the finishing touches to the next managerial appointment.
The Pittodrie club are expected to appoint a foreign coach but Nisbet insists that Leven is a massive influence in their dressing room.
