Famous for her glam image and riotous personality, Vicky, 37, reckons she’s been preparing for Strictly for a long time.

“I'm from the north east,” she laughed. “The makeup, the tan, the hair extensions — I’ve been practising for this my whole life.”

However, beneath the bravado, the TV star admits she’s suffering with anxiety as she gets ready to make her dancing debut.

“I'm quite a nervous person,” said Vicky. “My big fear is that my nerves and anxiety will get the best of us. Strictly are being so kind and so considerate of that, and have partnered me with someone who is very measured and very calm.”
