LIAM HAD LUTZ OF REASONS TO JOIN DONS

LIAM MORRISON revealed Aberdeen sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel was key in his loan switch from QPR to Pittodrie.

The former Scotland Under-21 international and ex-Celtic plus Bayern Munich youngster has secured a short-term move to Pittodrie in search of first-team football.

Morrison has featured just 12 times for the west London side this season as they push for a playoff place to get out of the Championship.

The centre-back came through the ranks at Parkhead before moving to German giants Bayern in 2019.

He had a loan spell at Wigan before leaving Bavaria on a full-time deal to join QPR.

Morrison quickly established himself as a regular starter and made 21 appearances in his first season but hasn't featured as much in his second. Now he hopes to make an impact back in Scotland.
