LGBT+ statue to mark end of forces ban

THE UK's first memorial to LGBT+ armed forces personnel will be dedicated today at the National Memorial Arboretum.
The bronze sculpture, An Opened Letter, marks the impact of the ban which made it illegal to be homosexual in the armed forces as recently as 2000.
