BUZZING Docherty is thrilled to make his return to Pittodrie
Interim Dons boss Leven will be in charge until the summer so has brought Tony Docherty back to help.
Contractual issues have held up Eirik Horneland’s appointment since the Norwegian left French second-tier Saint-Etienne last month.
Meantime, Aberdeen have gone back to the future with Docherty, who was Derek McInnes No.2 during eight successful years at Pittodrie.
Leven said: "It's great to get Tony in with his experience. We spoke on Thursday night and he was buzzing to get going.
“He is someone I can lean on, bounce ideas off and will definitely help the team.
“Our aims will be for the top six and to retain the Scottish Cup.
