It's crazy just being Lobbed into spotlight

DYLAN LOBBAN admits his Scotland Under-21s call-up has capped a "crazy" few weeks for him after the Aberdeen starlet made his Dons breakthrough.

And the right-back reckons his whirlwind rise to the top has not yet sunk in.

Lobban was plunged straight into the team for his Dons debut at the end of last month and sailed through it in a 1-0 win at Kilmarnock, which was a big boost for under-pressure boss Jimmy Thelin.

He's kept his place in the side since, including the UEFA Conference League draw at Cypriot side AEK Larnaca, and was rewarded with a call-up for the Under-21s, who are in Gibraltar tomorrow before facing Bulgaria at Motherwell.
