FREDDY DOUGLAS looks set to make a rare start for Edinburgh on Saturday when they take on Benetton in Italy.

And the fearless flanker hopes it will be the first of a run of games for the capital club that will take him back into the Scotland squad.
Now 20, Douglas won his only cap at the end of 2024 - a couple of weeks before he made his Edinburgh debut.
But he has only played a handful of club games since ~ this weekend's will be just his 10th.
The lack of game time meant he was left out of the Scotland squad last year and he is desperate to change that in 2026.
