PREGNANT women should ignore Donald Trump's claims that taking paracetamol could lead to their child having autism, the Health Secretary said yesterday.
Asked about the US President's intervention, Wes Streeting told ITV's Lorraine Kelly that her viewers should instead trust NHS medics, who have repeatedly debunked the myth.
He said: "I trust doctors over President Trump, frankly. I've just got to be really clear about this: there is no evidence to link the use of paracetamol by pregnant women to autism in their children. None.
