Scot stuck in Tenerife hospital after insurance firm pull plug on payouts

A DESPERATE family have issued a plea to help a Scots grandad “trapped” in a Tenerife hospital.

Colin McLeish and his wife Anne, 65, had been on holiday celebrating his 70th birthday when the dad of four fell ill before their flight home from Playa de las Américas.

Over a week later, Colin, from Cleland, Lanarkshire, remains in a private hospital on the island, where it is feared he may have suffered a stroke.
