Loan ace Adil reckons next four games could be key as Dons target return to Europe

ADIL AOUCHICHE accepts Aberdeen are going into a run of games that could be massive in their quest to seal a return to Europe next season.
The Dons had to battle back to claim a home point against Dundee United on Saturday as Celtic, Rangers and Hibs stretched their leads over Jimmy Thelin’s side, who occupy the final top-six place.

The Scottish Cup winners now take on Hibs and Falkirk away from home before a doubleheader against Gers.

And Aouchiche knows if they can put a winning run together it would leave Aberdeen in a good place.

The Frenchman said: “Every game in this league is very important but this one (Hibs) is massive.

“It is a big chance for us to close the gap on the team right above us and get some confidence.

“This is a really big game against a big team so it would be good for everyone here. These three matches away will be tough but it’s a challenge we have to do well in as footballers.

“We need to be really solid, compact and everyone has to be ready because the manager is going to use everyone for these busy games.

“It is good timing to take points from these and to look forward to the rest of the season after it.”

There's no shying away from the fact the Pittodrie aim is to get back into European competition after they bowed out of the Conference League earlier this month.
